Djurica Bukur I also am new and wishing to invest in our local nwi markets and I'm not the most knowledgable but I have noticed that yes Hammond is a cheaper area to invest BUT you'll have to deal with "class c" tenants maybe even class d it's all based on the area just my 2 cents like I was listening to on the podcast was go around and make offers on places that you are considering and if one person takes you by surprise and accepts your lowball offer talk it over with someone that is a lot more knowledgeable.

I'm working on analyzing deals and farming the market and I noticed not everything can be found on the mls or Zillow or McColly or any of those sites so I've taken maybe 30 minutes out of my days and decided to go and drive around see what's for sale in the areas I'm in. I live in highland and I've found multiple possible investments I'm interested in but I'm working on the money aspect and figuring out the how part.

I'm new here my name is Matt and I'm located in Northwest Indiana but aside from a introduction I was wondering if their is a possible chance of a repeat of 07 and what are the telltale signs of such a situation.
