Hi @Alina Trigub,
Thanks for responding!
On posting our idea / problem we are looking to solve, I wanted to make sure I wasn't crossing the 'solicitation' or promotion line of the forums vs the marketplace. If its okay to ask for feedback here, I'd be happy to post our idea up and get feedback, but I want to make sure I'm starting off on the right food with the community.
Regarding learning, I'm specifically interested in the data around commercial real estate. For instance: Comps, what are the uses by different professionals? For instance I know they are a calibration tool for estimating the value of a property or lease, but do people use them for other reasons? I'm also interested in what other information people find important with in the CRE space, how people attain that data, how they use it, what's painful or hard about the data or the process around it etc.
I realize that these are very deep questions, and something that I may not get all the answers to on BP (vs face to face), but I'm hoping I can learn over time and as well participate here, and really start to understand the data of commercial real estate.

Hey everyone, I thought I'd drop in and say hello and introduce myself.
I'm a co-founder in a early stage startup focused on Commercial Real Estate. We have an idea, and are at the phase of market research and POCs. We don't have a product yet as we want to make sure we build something that solves a problem. We are a current participant in the Ycombinator Startup School Program (which we are pretty excited to be able to be a participant of), we are right in the halfway point of the program and will be applying to their core incubator program.
I'm here to learn as much as possible and network.
~ Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I'm new here, I'm a co-founder in an early stage startup and we are a current participant in the Ycombinator Startup School Program.
I'm looking for CRE market data, specifically total transactions a year, both sales and leases. I'm looking for volume data, however most of what I'm finding is either market growth statics or market size in $$.
Any tips on where to look or favorite websites for this type of info?
Thanks!
