Post: Partnership in an Investment company start up

My main question is, a good friend and I both have our own real estate investments in our name. We have been talking for a few years now about going into partnership and finding these properties together through an investment company. First what would be the best all-around partnership entity for two people to start investing in the real estate. We have both followed bigger pockets page and know there is a lot of information all over on this topic. I am trying to get as much information together a head of time (before we start buying using the wrong entity) to make sure everything goes smooth as possible. I have read many horror stories on people investing with the wrong company structure and having a hard time restructuring companies without losing all profits. We are both located in Southern California as well it would be awesome to hear from all of you, and any information is good information.

And if there is anyone who knows of good real estate lawyers, CPA, and  Bank Financing is Southern California Area, we are both looking for new people to help handle our personal portfolios, and hopefully soon a company one as well

Could you please send me all information as well.

Thank you

I want to transfer my personal mortgage to my LLC, loan is with Bank of America, has any one done this with Bank of America? And will I have to refinance under LLC name? And what route would I go contacting the bank, everyone I get on the phone doesn't seem to understand or know what I'm trying to do. So I figured I would ask the pros on BP.

I have a rental property with about 100,000 in equity. Im moving to Seattle Wa. area in the next few month. I want to purchase a home/new investment/furture rental property. Ill be moving again with work in a year or so. Pretty common with my current career. As i move i want to contiune picking up properties. Im new to the investing world and the privite money lenders but love the idea of staying away from Banks, how much it speeds up the buying process.

Im looking to see how i would go about refinancing my current property taking anout 60,000 out of the equity, and purchacing a new home/investment property in the seattle area.

All/Any information would be great. Again this is something I want to do im sure there are many ways to make it happen, Im in the education/learning curve. Thank you
