Had to lookup the BRRR strategy, and yes, that is exactly what I want to do. I also love building houses, so see that as a way to build equity, and use that equity to purchase additional properties.

William - I have learned with my brief exposure on BP that networking with realtors is essential.  Its all about who you know.  My biggest issue is that I have yet to convince my wife to live in a "rental" grade house.  With the capital gains restriction eliminated, I could easily start building a smaller house, with hopes of selling it for a profit before completed.  Lots to consider.

1st post in BP - I close (selling) on my current owner-built house next Friday, and will have approx $70k to invest. Want to owner-build again, but what would you do with the money? Buy and hold is my long-term plan .... thanks! Location Eastern Washington
