This is GREAT! I'm in the insurance business and ALWAYS recommend it due to the inexpensiveness and the hole it leaves in peoples policies.  Does not matter how "new" the home was built.  All it takes is for one thing to change and your house is then out of code.

Do you have any contacts in Kansas City who can look at them?

Also, do you need any assistance putting the proper asset protection/insurance policy on the new homes?

Hey Basit,

I would be happy to discuss the differences with you!  I'm in the insurance industry and work for a broker who is licensed in all 50 states.

When would you have some time to connect on the phone to discuss the various options and coverages?

Also, I will message you with my contact information.  Looking forward to the opportunity to help you!

@Justin Seng I agree with numerous people before me, being that it is a complete preference.  The only thing I'll note, because I work in the insurance industry, is some companies give a discount if you pay the premium in full (which the escrow does).  If you're about being the most efficient with insurance costs and cant cash flow the full annual premium up front, you may want to consider escrowing for the additional discount(s).

@Scott Balderas I work in insurance and have had this question a number of times. Even if you don’t own an automobile you can still attain a very reasonable umbrella policy premium. . If you’re interested, I would be happy to take some time to explain how you can keep the coverage amount you currently have, but decrease the premium you pay. I will send you a direct message with my information.

I’m an insurance broker who works in all 50 states and I see far too often people, and RE investors especially, do not have their liability separated out correctly to mitigate their personal risk. . Over and over I get the same types of questions when insuring a portfolio (of any size) from people who do notnfIlly understand the lIabIlIty they are exposed to. . What questIons do you often have about where your liability extends to or what you’re exposed to?
