The Schlage CO-200 line is a wireless access control system that allows you to put an unlock and lock timer in. The locks are roughly $800. The Schlage Utility Software (SUS) and Hand held device (HHD) are $1,500.

Thank you all for the help!

The location where I will utilize EV stations is a commercial building with office and retail uses. I have seen a growing number of electric vehicles in town and the town has numerous other EV stations. Ideally I would like to use a level 3 station, however, I need to be able to justify that the value added outweighs the upfront cost. If I cannot justify the added value to the building I will need to use level 1 or level 2 charging.

Does anyone have any information or experience on how green building and practices affect tenant responses to an increase in rent? I would enjoy discussing this subject more with someone over the phone. If anyone is interested, please respond here and I will send you a message with my contact information.

I am looking to invest in EV charging stations for a commercial building.

Is anyone familiar with setting the monetary rates for people to use them? Does anyone have a suggestion for which EV station to purchase?

Post: Investing in solar panel

Good morning BiggerPockets community,

I have been researching the profitability of placing solar panels on commercial properties in New Jersey. I have a few estimates, and I am looking to see what other investors look for in solar returns. I am looking to purchase the panels rather than lease the roof to a solar company. In addition, I am curious how commercial tenants find value in not paying for utilities. Has anyone in New Jersey invested in solar panels under the new 2020 state incentives? Also, has anyone opted to pay tenant utilities in exchange for higher rent?
