My names Matt im 23 years old, i work in marine construction as a field engineer, and was recommended this site from a close friend that already has two rental properties since we graduated college in 2023. Since he had that much success, and has a similar salary to mine, i figured well damn I need to look into this. He is a lot better with spending money/saving than I am though so I am a bit behind the curve. I recently moved to the greenville area and am in the market to buy my first home hopefully in October, lastest Jan/Feb of 2026. I met a real estate agent by random chance the other day so I have talked to him about my situation a little, but i came to this  site to find more options, learn more, and find the best way to set myself up for success down the line. I have a lot of interest in purchasing investment properties and renting them for reasonable prices unlike what some of these property management companies / corporations get people with lol. I also really like the idea of buying land and building on it, although from my understanding that is a lot harder to get a loan for that a traditional mortgage.

If you are a lender, agent, or even someone that is just very familiar with the area and have tips, advice, or want to get involved feel free to reach out. I left my linkedin information on my profile so you can message me there and we can set up a call.
