Hey @Jon H.! Glad to "e-meet" you. I am new to real estate investing in Columbus as well and working on my first deal. Thanks for the intro!

I have seen a LOT of multi-families split into condos throughout Old Towne East, German Village, Merion Village, etc. Has anyone been through this process or have any advice? 

I know that Columbus just released some restrictions and regulations on short term rentals starting next year, but are there areas of town that have still banned them? I had heard Westerville and Worthington had some gray areas in regards to short term rentals.

Any experience?

@Robert Ellis - Where in Harrison West?

Whitehall is ok, but the homes are generally on the small side. You can find some deals in Old North Columbus and some in King-Lincoln / Near East as well. Also, I would look into Reynoldsburg and Pickerington. Some good deals in great neighborhoods with good schools.
