@Susanne Owens I’ve never hear of the 401k check I’ll have to look into that I’ll start saving right away tho

@David Barnett they will start to match immediately and they will give 6% to my 12%. From what I am seeing here I plan on contributing the full amount. I do plan on being with the company for the better part of my career.

Hello I am still new too investing, no deals. I am 22 and about to start a new job with 50% 401k match up to 6%. So I am able to gain “free money” but don’t know if I want to allocate that much money into the 401K when I’d like to start building an investing fund. I’m looking for opinions on the matter of 401k.
