Post: Lifestyles Unlimited investing

I'm a 50 year old dentist growing tired of patient care and would like to start investing passively and possibly moving into owning MF properties .  I have capital to invest but it would not be practical for me to quit my practice to begin a full-time hands-on approach to investing.  I have colleagues who have been successful with Lifestyles Unlimited (LU) as passive investors and later syndicators.   As many of you know, the model is you pay a significant upfront cost for mentoring, education  and the ability to invest with the LU group following its methodology (a friend analogized, "LU is investing with guard rails")  There are many other options for passive investing like BPs Brandon Turner and Grant Cardone but I'm drawn to the structured education piece that LU offers with the possibility of future syndication.  What are members thoughts on my approach to passive investing and the LU philosophy?

Looking forward to honest feedback.

Congrats and thanks for the detailed analysis.  Was this property in Indiana?
