 Plenty of opportunity there then. You can test out different niches and jobs within the real estate world. Personally I'd look into agent/wholesaling. Find someone to mentor you and be a help to them. Learn to work for the knowledge and not the money out the gate. The money will follow 

 Ohhh! Okay, I would start to cold call. Call around local brokerages and see if someone is willing to mentor you and take you under their wing. At our brokerage, we do a lot of cold calling. Every person that comes in has to be mentored. See if you can find something like that. You would not need to be full-time to do that. It takes a lot of persistence but is defiantly worth it. 

For real estate I'd say wholesaling or being an agent. Or find a service that'd benefit people in the industry(marketing, systems, lead management, etc). You could also start a business outside of real estate to generate cash/funds. Can you start an ecommerce business? Is there a local service you can provide? Where you are at when you are not working off shore? 

 Are you a realtor or what are you doing that you work then you do not? I would say flipping could be a side hustle, cold calling, if you are a realtor you could do leasing.
