I finally went to one of his meetups. He seems genuine and seems to offer some good programs according to his students. I think everyone should do their own research before jumping to conclusions like I did. I am sure he is not a scam artist... the only question is will it make financial sense for the individual to join his program

After speaking to a couple of people who have dealt with Gary it seems like he is on the up and up. It sounds like people have had a really good experience with him. I can't personally vouch for him, but it was nice to hear some first hand accounts of Gary. I think I will attend one of his meet ups to speak to him in person. All of his references were superhelpfull

Thanks alot Mike Bolen, I.will take that into consideration. Are country properties desirable as investments in this area? That seems to be Intero's stick

Anyone have experience with RE Brokerages in Vacaville, CA area? I am.looking to hang my license and am stuck between Intero and Coldwell Banker. I mainly want to serve investors and residential. Any experiences? Brand new agent so training is important, culture, and sales activity. Most of those seem to be pointing towards CB but just wanted to check.on here.

I used youtube prepagent and passed the first time. Pay attention to.vocabulary and watch his videos. These two things will.help tremendously, but its not a substitute for good old fashioned study sessions

Yeah I didnt end up going. The videos that they market with end up breaking down what seems to be a MLM model. He claims he is THE AUTHORITY in that field. They want you to pay 2-10 thousand to learn all the same things that are taught here on BP. Their big thing is Velocity banking. Not worth the time or money in my opinion

I saw a sign today at a Home Depot in Vacaville, CA saying "Real Estate Investor SEKS TRAINEE $10K MONTHLY CALL OR TEXT TO 925-***-****". I call the guy and he says to text him my name and email address. It sends me to a website http://30minute-millionaire.com/road-signs. From there i had to enter my email and phone number and start a "3 step verification process" and am supposed to interview with them on Thursday. Obviously, 10K a month starting out sounds outlandish, but I'm assuming this is a best-case scenario. Has anyone ever heard of this 30minute millionaire company or Gary Massari? Thanks for any input. I want to ensure I'm not getting into some janky situation.

Hello Bigger Pockets,

First let me say that I am so excited to have found this great community. I found this about 2 months ago and have rarely used it but plan to become more involved in the next few months.  I am 27 years old and currently in the military.  I am planning to get into the real estate industry upon my separation from the military in about 3 weeks. I am studying for my Real Estate Salesperson license in the San Francisco Bay Area now while trying to consume as much information about the topic as possible. I am simultaneously going to attend college to pursue a degree in Accounting and a CPA. I will also potentially become an enrolled agent for the IRS to get knowledgeable on taxes. I would like to put together my first real estate deal in the summer of 2018. i am currently working with my business partner to gather a group of experienced investors to make that happen. My real estate exposure is still in its infancy stage so im expecting some growing pains. I am looking forward to learning from all of you on this site!
