Hello All

I am currently job hunting and working on doing some renovations to my duplex. With some of the spare time I have, I am putting my self out there to help others. If there is something in your real-estate business that you could use some help with let me know. Who knows maybe I can work my way into a position on your team. Please feel free to message me here to see where I can help. Also, I am job searching at the same time. I own a small duplex and have attempted to manage it myself, had some good and bad. If interested I can send you my resume.

Thanks

Matt

Everybody, thank you for all of the help. I moved foreword and the tenants have been evicted and I am now working of the WRIT of possession. I was able to gain access to the property and a large amount of trash and furniture was left behind.

I am grateful for the learning experience this has brought me and can only look at the positive.

No the tenant that was on the lease is gone. She says she still has family that is refusing to leave

Hello All

My tenant informed me that she would not be able to pay rent and would be out by the end of the month. She is out of my duplex, but she had some family staying with her without them being on the lease. My tenant informed me that they are refusing to leave. Would it not at this point be trespassing since they are not on lease? Do I need to go through any legal processes or can I just notify the police to force them to leave?

Thank You

Thank you all. My duplex is in Bedford, I really like the area. The is a Mobility Credit Union there. Is there any reason I would want to go with a bank over a credit union?

Hello All

Newbie, just bought my first duplex so any general knowledge is accepted. Right now I am asking what is the best bank to go with in the DFW to start and account with for the new property and all money for it. Want a bank that will also be the best for future investments.

Ronald, I do not know how much he could put into a down payment. I would have to talk to them about that.

A multi-family could work but he says if he is going to buy he want to at least break even and not have to pay.
