Just bought my first rental! So I have decided to dive into the world of investment properties. Just paid 165k for my property. It was a brand new home. Well the market is crazy hot here and the appraisal was at 195k Rental price is going to be 1575$ a month for this 3bed 2 bath house. My question would be should I refi this loan after 6 months or just leave it alone. My mortgage on this property is 900$ a month. I could use the extra cash to purchase a town home down the street. Thanks for any help on this Matt

Just getting started in the Lexington KY area. I have been looking at several options to get started on my first rental. Hard money lender, 15 year 30 year loans and borrow from a federal TSP loan(401k). Still trying to figure out the best option. Reading and learning as much as I can but wanting to get my feet wet as soon as possible.
