In regards to the study, I'm not familiar enough with it. Broadly speaking a crack down on the quilty of rentals and policies encouraging affordable development sounds like a win for most.

I actually have not purchased in the area yet. I was going to make my first purchase in the summer but a deal presented itself and I purchased a property in Nova Scotia. I've brought my attention back to the capital and surrounding region though.

Big project, sounds like a blast.

The SFH is good. It's a charming century home on an acre across from the campus. I got a good deal on it too.

I'm looking into a NSCC student rental deal same street. Just looking for funding. 8 rooms (separated on 2 floors 4+4), a bachelor unit and a garage/loft rental.

I've been trying to figure out a good way to structure things moving into the future as I purchase more properties. I was thinking about something vaguely like that but having it layed out and explained definitely helpful.

That sounds exciting, are you gutting the whole triplex?

I just purchased a SFH near one of the NSCC campuses. I was down last week doing maintenance and it's up and going with its first renter.
