Just to clarify, if the property is owned by an LLC, you have to hire a lawyer to do the eviction. If the property is owned in your name, you can do the eviction, but I don't think now is a good time to learn how to do it yourself.

@Christopher Fabiany T. I feel for you bud. I have had to do a few evictions in CT and on a normal basis, it has taken me 3 months to go through all the steps and get a tenant out. Unfortunately, during Covid, it is probably much worse now. Make sure you have a lawyer who knows the eviction process. Yona Gregory in New London knows what is happening. There is Michael Clinton and Bardford Mahler who post a lot on CT Landlord and Investor FB page. Evictions can happen now, but you need to know all the crazy rules and follow them. Some people told me their lawyers told them that evictions can't happen now, but that is not true.

Stay on top of it all and don't let it get you down. It is very frustrating, but in the end, it will work out.

@Ilgaz Arikan

Hello and welcome to the site. @Francois Martin is very experienced in STR in New London. He is doing them with multi-family properties as well.

I have a few long term multi-family properties. I have thought about trying the STR game, but there seems to be a lot more work that goes into them over the long term or you need to be able to find people who can run all the systems for you.

I'm looking at purchasing three houses on two lots. Rents are so low the noi doesn't support purchase price for blanket commercial loan.

Checking whether they are on the same deed.

Any thoughts? Properties are in ct

@Kevin Scanlon , @Tyler Hespeler  all own and operate STRs in the Eastern part of CT. I have been thinking about getting into, but I haven't yet.
