I'm looking for my first property soon, I've set my sights on a 2-4plex capable of being FHA'd... how do you guys see the market now/near future? What areas are attractive? I've been looking at Shippan as well as East of Rippowan, but would love to talk to somebody who's active in Stamford.

Do any of you have experience investing as the general partner with limited partners? As someone with low capital, I believe a partnership where I earn equity through deal making etc. would work.

I’m looking to start investing out of state, as my area does not cash flow. Does anyone here have experience with this? I’m also in the process of looking for a mentor that I could contact with questions and advice as I start my journey. Thank you all.
