Hi Joel! Thanks for the response! What made you visit? Are you looking to invest there also? We are looking to buy and hold residential property long term. Plan would be to BRRR. The downtown area seemed to be catching some momentum regarding revitalization and looks to be properties in the area that need some love but could get deals on.

We are a new business considering investing in the Danville VA downtown area. I grew up on the outskirts of Danville but have been gone about 15 years. We are looking for rockstar team members including real estate agent, lender, contractor, and property management. Any leads would be great. Id be happy to share what I remember about the area for any other investors interested.

Good evening all! I was reading through the comments. I grew up right outside of Danville. I have been in Richmond for about 15 years now but I can confirm most of what everyone has said about the area. It was a textile based area, when everything went overseas or technology based it got left behind. The downtown revitalization is happening though as they have brought in a taqueria, Ballard brewery, two witches brewery, and a few others. They are near Carrington Pavillion which is a concert type venue. The new Casino is a go and all of this isn’t far from Averett University. My partners and I have just formed our real estate investment business and are considering Danville area to invest. Anyone have rockstar team members they’d be willing to share in the business?
