Post: Finding buyers/creating buyers list

I've been reading on ways to find reliable and consistent buyers and came across the idea of using the MLS listing to find buyers in my area. The only problems is that when I go to the MLS site, I don't even see the option to look at buyer names or any info regarding buyers. Maybe I am looking in the wrong section, or place all together. How do you find out what buyers are around you in order to inquire their focus/needs and reach out with deals?

Thank you all! I am looking to invest but at the moment I am reading up on my options. I went into this thing with the mindset of starting out with wholesaling to create enough cash flow to buy a property in the future ( I went to a seminar, aka GURU) . After reading a few forums here on BP I learned the importance of knowing what a buyer wants and being able to estimate cost of repairs. So my gears have switched and now my focus is to gain knowledge on the market, estimating repair cost and networking with buyers in my area to find out what they are looking for. I want to do things the right way. I've been watching a few podcast but I still feel very out of the loop on what my first step will actually be.  At this time I am looking to absorb as much as I can.

I currently live on the south side of Kansas City, Grandview area @Jason Hawk

Hello all. I've been interested in the RE field for a while now and just joined BP recently. I am interested in rehabbing/flipping/wholesaling but have no experience. My best bet is to read through these discussions and learn as much as possible while also meeting new people and networking. I also look to any opportunities of mentors/job shadows. I have already read a few discussions and have gained lots of insight. I look forward to interacting with you.
