@Martin Kim many of our clients invest in private funds that loan to fix and flippers as an example.  You can get well over 5% doing this.  $30k is enough to get started.

Could you give me more information about your company and services?

Thanks Dan. I have heard of treasury note but have not bought one myself. Any institutions you can buy it with or do you have to go to the government website? Am I able to buy them using my Roth solo 401k fund?

Hi,

I set up a Solo 401k last year to start funding my investments in real estate. I would like to start in syndication or short term rental deals. I believe there are limited options as a non-accredited investor. By next year, I should be accredited due to my income being over 200k for 2 consecutive years.

I have about $30k that I want to start somewhere with passive investment. Not looking for anything homerun. Is there any actionable investment opportunities I could look into?

Thanks

Hi everyone,

I was looking to answer my own question on Google but I could not find the answer.

After the hold period of around 5-7 years in a syndication investment, what happens to your investment? Does the GP pay you back the original principal and you are no longer invested in that property? If the property is a long term hold and I want to continue to stay invested in this deal, earn cash flow & grow equity, is that something that's commonly done? Do most syndication deals plan on selling the property after a few years as an exit strategy?

Also, what happens after the loan is refinanced?

I was not sure if you (as the investor) would be getting back the principal and you have to find another deal, or you can choose to keep your money invested in that property for generations.

Thanks in advance!
