That's a good question and pretty much the same sentiment I have, at this point i'm just going to get the license anyway, I figure the least I will get from the experience is  better understanding of real estate as a whole. Plus you never know who you'll meet and/or what additional information you'll get along the way.....

Hi all, I'm in NYC and looking to obtain my real estate agent/salesperson license. Seeking some advice as to the best way to go about the process, I have seen a couple of "schools" such as NY Real Estate Institute, Real Estate U, Real Estate Training Center..does anyone have any experience with any of these organizations and/or recommendations as to obtaining my licensing?
