@Kevin Romines I have received various quotes. The most expensive being in Southern California, around $150-200 sq/ft and the cheapest quote I received was from a company in New Jersey for around $100 sq/ft. I have heard that most companies won’t drive further than 250-500 miles from the factory. The only reason I want modular building is it’s the fastest, it’s cheaper. The con of modular is obviously you’re home won’t be as customizable. That is why as a rental project this seems to make sense.

I live in Kent Washington (suburb) of Seattle. I want to invest into a rental property. I’m looking into new construction, specifically building modular units, even more specifically I was interested in townhouses. Is this worth a try? How many units is it worth investing into?
