Thanks for the tips everyone:) @Ibn Abney, much appreciated, I'm digging into those words now. Ive been writing the lingo down as I go, but you gave me some new ones.

I'm not a pro member yet, once I am i'll have all the calculators, but till then I figured if I can know how to analyze a deal without a calculator, Id have a better understanding of what to look for and basic understanding.

@Jay Helms, right now, i'm thinking about house hacking, BRRRR, and land development.

Hello everyone. I've finally decided to do more than just listen to the podcast. I'm totally new to Real Estate investing, but my goal here is to learn as I go and get to know some like minded people on the same path.

My goal right now is to learn how to analyze a deal. Id like to know how to do it with and without the BP calculators, just so I understand what I should be looking for. 

Any tips on where or how  to start with that would be welcome. Looking forward to getting to know more of you.

Hey guys, my name's Mark. I live in Salem, Or. Ive been listening to the podcast awhile now off and on, and finally decided to sign up.

Im as noobie as they come with real estate, Its something ive been interested in for awhile now. This seems to be an awesome place to learn.

I don't have any credit or cash, so Im thinking about starting in wholesaling maybe, till I build up some momentum. Any recommendations on good forum posts/ books on the subject would be nice.
