@Miguel Caudillo

Thanks Miguel. I just had someone say they will be able to make it over. If that falls through, I’ll reach out to you.

Looking for a handyman for a very small job in South Jordan Utah. I self manage a few properties. One of my tenants let me know there’s an issue with an exterior door not closing. Normally I’d take care of it myself, but I’m not able to for a couple weeks. All handymen I’ve contacted are booked for 3-4 weeks out. Does anyone know of a handyman that could stop by and check it out? It would probably only take an hour for an experienced person. Unit was built in 2014.

@Steven Skinner

This is great advice. Thank you. It was a promissory note. He showed me all the numbers he’s used to buy the house but it’s a good idea, like you said, to verify everything. Thanks!

I recently met up with an old acquaintance. He has flipped several SFHs and I said we should partner sometime since I'm just beginning. He proposed to me that he's going to buy a house and I contribute $25k of the rehab and he pays me back with interest. He sent me over a contract. Does anyone have any advice for me since this is my first JV to not get screwed? I can email the contract template if anyone's willing to take a look at it.
