@Patti Robertson

I believe Conroe would be a part of Montgomery County Housing Authority. However, I don't see any listing of advertised properties on their site http://www.montcoha.org/. On gosection8.com, I don't see any listing as well.  Should I question my manager's experience for not posting?

@Kevin Coggins, @Mike Landry

Good to know it maybe seasonal and not just me.  There are a number of rentals close by in that rent range.

@Patti Robertson

Thank you for pointing out gosection8.com and craigslist.  I'll inquire with my PM.

My property in Conroe, TX (near the Houston area) has been vacant for over 2 months now.  A month ago the property manager lowered the rents from $1525 to $1475 and is now accepting Section 8 tenants.  The property is 4 beds, 2.5 bath, ~2200sqft and built in 2013.  So far there has only been 4 showings and no applications, which is worrying to me.  Is anybody else finding issues filling vacancies in this area?  Any suggestions?
