Welcome, Guy. What part of VA are you in?

Daniel,

Welcome to BP.  I live in Chesapeake also and have been investing here for 15 years.  Have a couple of rentals, but most interested in old properties to do major rehabs or tear down for new construction.  Always looking for "deals".   Feel free to msg me here.

Agents in VA are not required to be members of the local, state or national associations. Membership allows one the use of the name Realtor and the Realtor trademark. Membership has nothing to do with the competency of the agent. It's their desire (or not) to pay an exorbitant annual fee for very few services.

Upen,

You are correct.  Forgot that part of the equation.  You da man.

southeast VA is my turf. 40 years licensed broker. Investing for a long time. Building new construction and doing major rehabs. Own rental properties too. Look forward to interacting here.

Mark

if the foreclosed property sold for less than needed to pay off the mortgage, you may not be able to use your VA eligibility again until VA is made whole.
