Family member sold/closed on a house with an oil tank clean up in process. An escrow agreement limiting seller's liability to 5K was part of the closing documents. Seller received proceeds of sale. Seller's attorney never cleared the escrow items. Subsequently during clean up, the scope of work changed and costs increased dramatically. Seller's attorney retired is no longer in practicing law. Looking for environmental attorney who can provide legal advice to seller on seller's legal responsibility relating to ongoing cleanup of property.
