Hi All - I'm looking for an experienced developer that would be willing to review a spreadsheet I have put together for a deal with me over a screen share call.  The development is to subdivide 28 acres into ten (10) lots and build (8) cabins for short-term rentals with room to build two more (or sell off the lots).  I work in commercial development for my day-job and am just looking for someone that can help me parse through risks or rewards that may not even be on my radar.  Pretty far along in engaging a bank, civil engineer, contractor, and real estate agent.  Hoping someone is willing to lend a hand!  Please DM me if you're willing to help out!

If you have any experience doing development in Blount County, TN, please shoot me a message!  I'm specifically looking for anyone who has been able to navigate getting a Site Plan approved in Blount County.  I'm looking to do a small development of ten cabins on a ~35 acre tract that's located in an R-2 Zoning District.  Would love to pick your brain if you've been there!

We just had our first meeting of this group on MON 3/8 and the next event is scheduled for MON 4/12.  If you would like to be a part of this group as an investor or if you are an industry partner (lender, contractor, etc.) that would like to present to this group, please message me with your email!  This is a community that's growing fast!  

What the Group is Looking For:

  • -What are other investors doing right now? Especially because Denver has become a tougher market for investors, how is everyone else doing deals and where?
  • -Grow the group to include a lot of disciplines, including Financing, Title, Contractors, etc.
  • -Create synergy and learning from each other's experience.
  • -Have fun! Create community.
  • -Preferred format for future events - Ideally, in-person. We'll do this as soon as covid permits! Until then, we'll keep up with digital. If people want to meet up on the side in smaller groups, go for it!

Hi everyone - I'm looking for a strong personal tax accountant that specializes in real estate. I have W-2 income, and two rental properties. Anticipate that my portfolio will grow significantly in the next five years, so I want to make sure that I get set up correctly from a tax standpoint and maximize deductions.  I'm currently located in Denver, CO and work remotely in Los Angeles, CA.

Anyone know of solid private financers that would work with a new LLC? Looking to make some contacts here. I'm specifically looking in the Austin, TX market right now.
