But how do I add a users name to my comments or reply's so they know we're having a conversation?

Danna Campbell you and your husband working together (a contractor and a CPA) sound like a lethal team. When I get the info for that REI I'll be sure to pass it along.

Robert Sims, CONGRATULATIONS on your first deal!!!!

Thats awesome, good luck with it I help it turns into an amazing deal for you.

I will PM for the info on the Fort Bend REI. Thanks for reaching out, hope to see you soon either on the site or at the REI.

Hi Guys and Gals Mark here...

Im originaly from southern California and I moved out to Texas with my family 6 years ago.

Im a husband and a father to two awesome young ladies and my biggest desire to build an amazing life and future for my wife and kids.

I've been listening to the podcasts and im up to episode 107. I've been trying to learn all i can before i jumped in BBUUTT something the struggling investor Scott said really switched a light on for me, he said if he could change anything about his investing career it would be to have started sooner.

I think he said he took 3 years to start but really started learning after he started to invest, and I saw a lot of my traits in him so I've decided to jump in.

Initially I am interested in wholesaling or assigning to get my feet wet, learn the ropes and build up some capitol. Id like to do some fix and flips as well but ultimately what i want to do is buy and hold long term for "massive passive" income (I think i just coined that phrase).

I dont expect it to be easy, but since my wife and i watch HGTV all day I should be an expert already and should be able to buy a house, remodel it and sell it within 30-60 minutes......right?

But seriously though, I am eager to learn and excited. If anyone knows of any good meet ups or REIA's in the area please let me know. I'd love to get a chance to speak with and learn from other more experienced investors. Or better yet (and stop me if Im being to presumptuous) if there is anyone with a project going right now I'd REALLY love to stop in and check it out I could even bring you some coffee and donuts :-)

Well I guess thats all for now, I hope to talk to, get to know, learn from and do business with some of you fine folk very soon.

Till then, thanks for reading, take care and God bless.
