@Ibn Abney, Thank you, your input is very much appreciated, it seems that this one is a bit of a less traveled road at the moment, judging from the lack of information available... I started doing research but haven't been able to find much!

Hi Everyone,  I have a small (2- floor, 525 sf) rental house in the Midway area. It is on the back of a lot next to the alley. The lot is 3,750 sq ft. I am considering the idea of building up a duplex on the front, on approx 1,100 sf. I have never been involved on anything of this sort, how doable and cost effective would it be compared to buy/renovate,  any thoughts? Thank you so much.

My rental is in the Midway area. I am looking for a 3-4 unit anywhere in the city or suburbs. This may be too wide, but anywhere I can get a great deal. This may mean a place that needs to be updated or renter occupied.

Hi Everyone,

I am in need of a great  agent to help me sell my rental and find a great multi-unit deal. I am looking for a multi-unit property in the city or surrounding suburbs. I am ready to move forward, if you are or know of someone amazing, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi everyone,

I have one rental property and I want to find a way to finance a multi-unit building,  and I would like to know if could I somehow make a 1031 exchange and use as a partial or a down payment. Thank you.

Super helpful Larry, thanks!

Hello everyone,

I am going to start looking for a property. I know at least two realtors who are investor friendly and can help me. One is familiar with multi-family, the other one with flipping. I would like to look at both options. Is it ok to work with both (or more) at the same time? I don't know if I should make both work if at the end I will buy only one property -for now.

Great to know Lance, will have that checked. Thank you so much for your input!

Yes, I see that this case is not so easy since I lived in the house only one of the past 5 years, I see the need of expert help here. Your input is very appreciated, Paul and Steve, best of luck to you too!
