@QuoVadis Gates

Thank you for the input QuoVadis.

This weekend my business partner and I are meeting with a possible mentor. He is going to take us to his farm area and tell us about the demographics. It’s a major opportunity for us. I’ll look into being a broker that might be a good idea, thank you!

@Nicole Heasley

Thank you Nicole.

I do not know any appraisers personally but I will try to reach out and find some through online.

@Aaron K.

Thank you for the response Aaron.

I understand what you mean. It’s more of a means to not work 70 hours a week. And in the mean time make the same income with less hours.

@Colby Hager

Thank you for responding.

It was a thought that I just wanted to clear up and get other opinions. That thought (what you just covered) did go through my head. We have been self educating ourselves and are going with a local real estate investor to drive by his farm area this weekend!

Hey guys my name is Marcus Peck,

I am 21 years old and my brother and I started an LLC for real estate investing (specifically flipping) and right now we are educating and networking.

I work 70+ hours a week with my full time and part time job and it’s getting very tiring while trying to start a business. So I was thinking of doing online school to become a house appraiser:

1. To gain more knowledge on appraising and helping our business

2. To have a more flexible schedule and help grow the business

3. To make a better income

4. I believe they do have access to the MLS. (I looked it up and I'm pretty sure they do get access)

I just want some input on this option. Thank you for your time!

Hey guys,

I am 21 years old and I currently work 2 jobs, 13 hours a day to be able to save money to invest in real estate. My brother and I just started up our own LLC and we want to start it out by flipping houses to get some money coming in and hopefully expand to rentals and hit commercial later on. My mind has come across getting my real estate license and possibly becoming a real estate agent, not only for the income but also the education, networking, and access to MLS. I just want to know would this be worth it? Thank you for your time!

@Paul Hansen

Thank you for the response.

That's exactly what I'm doing. I am trying to find an undervalued home to move into and throughout the year that I live there. I did find a property that is $79k and has many cosmetic issues such as stained wood floors, ugly paint, needs new floorboards, just small things like that. My dad has done that in their own house so he could help me fix it up. And then when the year is about to end I'm planning on updating the kitchen to bring up the value and get some money out of it. I will look into HUD I have never heard of those but I do appreciate that.

Thank you again and have an awesome day!

@Abel Curiel

I had this idea earlier but all the multi family homes in my area are well over $110k. I would love to be able to rent out one side that pays for majority, if not all the mortgage and then eventually taking out a HELOC a year later.

I appreciate the input and I will talk about it with some people. I know My brother and I are going to be talking to a guy that flips houses in my area hopefully soon after the pandemic goes over.

But thank you again and have a great day!

@Marcus Peck

And obviously this would be a mortgage with a 3.5% down payment
