Hi BP I am looking to start investing in the Jacksonville NC area and wanted to see what your opinions on the best property managers are in the area that are also investors themselves. Looking to start obtaining single family properties 3-5 in the first year and grow/scale moving forward. Also am very interested in using the BRRRR strategy to achieve my goals.

Any advice/ insight is greatly appreciated!

Just went under contract on my second property, should I open another separate account for this house as well if everything works out with it or will the first account I opened work?

Hi Tom, I have recently closed on my first out of state rental in the Wilmington NC area. I didn't go through a TK company but the house was move in ready. Also just went under contract on my second SFH. Both were in the 180-230 range, the thing that I tried on the first house and will try to do on the second house is rent it out by the bed room. That helped my overall ROI and helped with the cash flow. If you have any questions of possibly trying to find a property with out a TK company just shoot me a message.

Good Luck!

Thanks Jeff! Also the best of luck hope it all goes smooth for you!!

I closed on my first out of state deal on the 30th of December and have tenets moving in very soon. What is recommended for bank accounts for the property, should I open account in the area of the property of could I just open another account with the bank I have now. Also for the deposit should I have a savings account for that or some other kind of account for it?

I have 12.8 acres in Vermont and I have a person asking about owner financing the property. I have no clue what the process is and how I would protect myself if they are unable to pay. Any helpful information?

Thanks!!

Marc

@Christopher Cox I was properly going to have someone manage it. I would like to get at least $100 per door of cash flow on a multi family. And $200 if it was a single family
