Thank you so much to everyone for the warm welcome and the great advice!  My wife and I are plotting our next move already and all of the articles, podcasts, and commentary on this site - as well as the responses to this post - are very supportive.  Knowledge is truly power to plan and to act!

My name is Marco Rimassa, and I was introduced to BP by a colleague who invests in real estate.  My wife and I started our real estate journey by accident, moving from Houston proper out to Katy, and renting out our prior home.  While rocky at first, this has settled into a nice single family buy and hold property for us on multi-year lease.  We are also renting out a vacation home in the Austin area.  In both cases, we use property management as this is not our primary occupation (yet!).  Next we'd like to consider another single family or a multi-family unit in the Houston area for buy and hold, so I have started actively reading what BP offers there.  However, before we do that, we want to get our legal infrastructure settled.  Any fellow buy and hold investors have a good experience with a real estate attorney in the Katy/West Houston area?
