Hi BPers -

Has anyone used a tile re-glazing company that they would recommend in the Chicagoland area? For those of you who have re-glazed before, how has the re-glazing worked out from your experience?

Thanks,

Marco

Hi Greg -

Interested in apartment complexes/office space/and restaurant/bar space

Hi BPers!

I am a residential multi-family investor looking to expand into the commercial real estate space.

For you experienced commercial real estate investors, what are some essential learning materials you have read/listened to? Looking for books/podcast episode recommendations

Topics I am trying to learn more about are financing/tenant management/commercial real estate basics

Thanks in advance!

@Damian Bialonczyk

Thanks for your response. I’ve heard the 203 loans can be tricky. Did you have any issues?

@Jerry Padilla

Thanks for responding Jerry - I really appreciate your insight. I have a 20% down payment ready for a property in early 2020, but I’m thinking it might be wiser to use 10% on a down payment and 10% on rehabbing the duplex the refinance out to a conventional loan with a newly rehabbed property.

Hi BP!

First time post post here. Just wanted to see if anyone has any experience/success with the following strategy:

Close on a property using an FHA loan (less than 10% down). Put money into a rehab to increase the value of the property, and refinance into a conventional loan at the increased value.

Looking forward to connecting with those who have had success with this strategy

Thanks!

Marco
