I understand you have to live in the property, I forgot to say lets say I from monday-thursday i work in NY and come back to my place for the weekend?

Good afternoon everyone, I tried googling the aswer to this question and couldn't find a definitive answer and before I went to a lender wanted to ask her. Is it possible to take out a FHA loan and work out of state? Lets say purchasing a multi-family house in Texas and working in NY.

How's everyone, I'm just starting REI and a spot saw within my range was McKeesport in Pittsburgh. I want to know if anyone can give me some info about the area. I've done some research and spoke to some people and they say it's a decent area close to the city and depending where the crime is bad. Just trying to learn more about the area, property I'm looking at is a 3 bedroom 1 bath single family
