Post: How long does the NAR take to approve a membership?

Thank you. From what I've heard, my NRDS ID is private info. Is that correct?

Also, new agents: when registering your domain, use CallRail to create a virtual number for your Whois data. ICANN requires that your information is up to date or they can terminate your domain.

Therefore, set up a virtual number telling callers that the line exists for ICANN purposes only, and that the line that it forwards to is listed on the national Do Not Call list, and that they can be fined $40,650 by the FTC for non-compliance.

That gets them off your back, and if you get loads of calls on your cell from spammers, install TrueCaller to automatically reject calls from known spammers.

MODS, PLEASE NOTE: This message is not a solicitation, and I do not get any kickbacks of any kind for stating what software I'm using. It's simply here as an option for people to protect themselves if they choose to use it. Do not contact me about this software as I have no connections to these companies and cannot help you.

Today is Monday, and I woke up to an approval email, so I'm now in their system. Presumably the delay was just because of the weekend.

On a side note, now that I have a NRDS ID, is it considered public information?

It's fine. I searched for my NRDS ID at https://reg.realtor.org/roreg.nsf/retrieveID?OpenForm using my name and license, but apparently they have yet to assign me one.

I paid my dues online, but I was never issued my NRDS ID number, so I have no way to create an account online.

I've applied to become a Realtor through ACAR, my local Realtor branch, and I'd like to know how long it generally takes for them to approve a new member.

Post: 100% exam score versus 70% in Ohio?

Is there any benefit to getting a 100% exam score when getting my license, versus a 70% minimum score to pass in Ohio? (Ex. Better exposure somehow through companies like NAR) Perhaps it's like a driving test where as long as you pass, your score is irrelevant.

Thanks for the help.

@Timothy Tooker Perfect. That's what I was wondering. Does your LLC have your name in it's name or is it an arbitrary name? (Ex. Keller Williams, or McDonalds versus Bigger Pockets or Vista Print)

I'm not looking for wholesale training; I've already completed that. Being an agent will help me avoid problems I was facing with the market in wholesaling.
