I live in central Pennsylvania in the Harrisburg area and I'm looking to connect with agents in the area. I'd love to chat with agents experienced working with foreclosures and distressed properties. Please reach out and see if we may be able to help each other out!

I’m getting started out in real estate and I’m interested in obtaining my real estate license to get access to the MLS. Can anyone recommend a quality real estate licensing school in Pennsylvania? What about online courses? Which would be better? Thank you!

Thanks Bob. Say it was a buy and hold property that i plan to rent out. Do you use Zilla/Trulia? Are their certain aspects of the house that will turn you on/off of a deal? Do you use those apps to find comps or perhaps go through a realtor? Thanks again

How do you go about analyzing deals? What steps do you take when analyzing a deal? Which apps/resources do you use? What are the most important figures when you are running the numbers on a property? Thank you!

Dave, thank you for the response. The path you chose is probably what I am leaning towards as of now. The best case scenario would be to do what your friend did while in college. Thanks for the advice, I hope to stay in contact in the future!

I am currently 17 years old and very passionate about real estate. I only have a couple months of high school left and I need to make a decision of what to do next. My goal is to be a full time real estate investor and then to pursue other business opportunities. I am intrigued by possibly going to a trade school and studying a relevant and useful trade in real estate (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC). I'm also interested in taking the 4 year college path and perhaps getting a degree in business/accounting. However, being swamped in student loans definitely scares me and would certainly delay the time it would take to become a full time investor. If anyone could offer any sort of advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!
