Post: How DO you build Corp Credit???

Jeff- Why wouldn't we pay our mortgage? Because it jumped from $5,000 to $14000 a month and the promise of a refi before that happened by our lown officer was never able to happen. It wasn't that I wouldn't pay my bills, it's couldn't. But we do pay our bills on time. Assume that I don't know how to buy RE and make a good deal, because that's true. (Which is why I'm here.) But please don't assume that I'm one of those with maxed out credit cards, new fancy cars and dodads trying to live the good life on credit and a mediocre income.

But if you were honestly trying to help me with that kind of post then all I can say it thank you. It didn't real work for me but thanks for trying.

Thank you Jon I will do that.

Haha this sad thing is, is that I felt after reading this post that I should be able to post a question and I totally got a rude reply. So much for swallowing fear and stepping forward. You just can't sift or police jerks, it comes with bearing your questions for a bunch of people to reply to.

Jeff-
You're right that did sound mean and wasn't really helpful unless I had lots of debt and did't pay my bills on time. I guess you assume anyone who's had a forclosure must fit that discription.

Jon-
No we did not buy a seasoned shelf corp, we started the corp 08, but the person who helped us set it up refered to this group they worked with and they offered the above B.S. for $3,500. I'm not paying that, or even thinking about paying it, I'm asking if they are right that you cannot build credit by having a Corp credit card and vehicles under the corp?

Help me guys and gals!

We have a 2 year old S-Corp and we want the S-Corp to start having credit, our accountant told us to transfer our business credit card to the Corp and try to get our business vehicles transfered too.

I just got off the phone with the company we bought our corp through and they are saying that you can't build Corp credit that way and that we were wasting our time. Then he said for $3500 they could build our Corp credit and fix our personal credit (we have forclosed in 08) and guarentee us a $50,000 loan.

I don't know about paying someone that much for building credit. The sales person said it's better to pay someone to do it because if I try to do it myself i'll do it wrong and get denied by a lender then I'll go on some lender list and no one will lend to my Corp.

I would like to use so some credit to purchase our properties someday but this sounds really touchy and complicated.

Do I really need to or should I pay someone to build my Corp credit?

Is he just trying to scare me out of $3500?

If he's right about me wasting my time with the credit card and vehicle transfer, do you guys know someone that can build it correctly, that you trust?

I feel really "blah" after talking to this guy.

Thanks for you help.

A client of ours died a few years ago and did the same thing, no will. The state took it, took half of what the home was worth after selling it and let the family members fight for the leftovers, we don't know which family member got it or how the state decided WHO got it. This happened pretty fast though I am surprised the state hasn't done anything in 5 years with the house you describe.

The person / family member we met at the house said the owner also had 2 mil in the bank and the state took half of that too. They were asking if she maybe in passing told my husband who she wanted to leave everything too. They were desparate. I would have said "Yeah, she wanted everything to go to her faithful poolman" ;) Sad case. Good luck with everything.

Just my opinion, I like the white frames. And I look for nice fences in front yards because I have kids and want dogs. Maybe a stone path to the door. Just my dream home stuff. :)

This IS my new facebook. And I appreciate you all so much. I don't know much as far as RE but I love that I can bring what I do know to test it against the groups knowledge and get feedback or (more recently) corrected.

To be honest I am also terrified of the group at the same time. It's very intimidating, but where else can I find a place to compare book knowledge or RE theories/ ideas with actual experience?

You are all my mentors/teacher and I can't argue with the tuition price. Thanks Josh for hosting this awesome bunch.

I have also read many Nevada Myths websites too so I do see and understand there is another side to the coin. This might not work for our benifit, but then again it might. One can only hope I never need to test it and that we never get sued haha!
