Too bad these properties should all be condemned, I’ve gotten so many messages from people who have lived at or worked on your properties that are filled with mold and animal waste and drug dealers. So, now that you’re on here boasting about all your success I’m here to bring you back down to earth and share my review of living at two of your properties.
We recently rented from Schultz Property Management. It seems to me that based on neighbors and other peoples experiences with them, they will specifically target and take on people with criminal records and pets who don’t have a lot of options on rentals. This way they don’t have to uphold the properties or care for the health and safety of their tenants because they know people are desperate and likely won’t be able to afford a lawyer.
We have rented with them twice and both times they did not maintain our properties at all. The first time we rented from them our neighbors were selling meth and leaving bags of meth and dirty needles all over the complex. Police were called a hundred times, management was notified, nothing was done. Our storage units were broken into down below in the basement by these neighbors, nothing was done. The lock on our door was broken and nothing was done. The place was dirty and disgusting and the washers never worked and nobody would come to fix them.
At our second house, after we left Schultz was trying to charge us because we acted to shut off the water so that their leaking pipes and leaking washer hookup didn’t flood the house. They claimed this was not their fault as they did not provide the washer, but they provide the washer and dryer hookups and the pipes that regularly leak into the basement, garage, and kitchen. After seeing a bad review I left, they tried to get the post removed by reporting it; call me; and then eventually removed the plumbing bill after getting negative publicity.
I am posting this comment as a warning to people out there about 215 Jordan Road in Stevens Point. It is full of mold and the pipes leak from the basement all the way up into the walls. They are refusing to acknowledge this. My husband and I were sick the entire time we lived there. We experienced low energy, brain fog, sore throats, headaches, unexplained cough, and more every day for the year we lived there. Please be warned not to rent this property from them, or any property for that matter! There are a million other things they refused to fix on top of the health hazard of the mold. Rotting window frames, unsafe electrical issues, a tub and sink that didn’t drain properly, a promised dishwasher that turned out to be broken and unusable, a driveway with tons of pot holes so deep that they could have easily damaged cars, and much, much more.
The basement was covered in mold, despite us purchasing our own dehumidifier for 200 dollars so we could uphold the mold and moisture addendum of the lease. We ran it in the basement 24/7 and emptied it daily. We had to throw away many items stored down there due to mold growth. Also, be warned the house is full of mice! Sorry (not sorry) for the bad PR Schultz, but you need to be held accountable. I’ve gotten tons of messages and comments from people with similar experiences. You have preyed on people who had good faith in you to care for their properties, for their personal health and safety; and instead now live with ongoing health issues, legal fees, and are forced to reside in unsafe conditions. This needs to change before someone is seriously injured or dies from the health hazards that they call homes and rent out to people. Schultz properties is a predatory slumlord business that does not care about you or your family, they do not care about taking care of their properties, they will not answer when you call or text. The only way you will get a call back from them about an issue really quickly is if you post a bad review about them. There is nothing Keaton should be proud of when it comes to owning his properties. I have spent hours talking to tenants who are sick with mold exposure or who’s houses have wood rot so bad they should be condemned. Keaton owns a money hungry company with disgusting practices, steer clear at all costs.
