Hi Everyone! Thanks for sharing your suggestions and words of encouragement!

I look forward to getting to know all of your here and out in the community. I would love to participate in a meetup with other local BP members... I've tried out one local REIA so far (and will try out the other too), but from looking at all the calendars, each meeting revolves around an "expert" trying to sell you something. Have you all had similar experiences or do you find that sales pitch or not, they're valuable uses of your time?

Hello Everyone! My name is Amanda Miklos, and I'm new to real estate investing and "new-ish" to Bigger Pockets... I set up a profile a while ago and have been reading and listening for some time, but have never introduced myself or engaged with others here. However, I'm turning a new leaf in that regard, and am looking to quit talking about and start DOING this real estate investing thing.

I've recently started an LLC and want to focus mostly on buy and hold properties, preferrably multi-families, in the Charlotte metro area. I am interested, long-term, in fix and flips also, but I'd like to get my feet wet in rentals first. I am very interested in aligning with people who are ethical, goal-oriented, "lets scratch each others' backs" types to create the most efficient, long-term business I can.

I am excited to be beginning this new adventure and eager to be more engaged here at BP!
