My suggestion put the LVP everywhere and do not put in the carpet.

Good luck!

Thanks Curt, I think I will go in that direction.

Thank you for the suggestion, Alecia, I'll look into the pump option. I just looked at the place a few days ago and getting ready to give an offer. I think I'll get a plumber to give me some input if the offer gets accepted and we go into inspection. When I researched I saw that they have special toilets that can pump out, but didn't know if they made anything for the greywater in the shower :).

Hey all looking for some advice, I am looking to buy a duplex that is currently 2 bed 1 bath on each side and one side has the sewer line above ground which is weird. I am planning to add a bathroom and a bedroom down there but was wondering how I'd go about adding the bathroom since the sewer line is above the ground as won't be able to use gravity to do its thing.

The washing machine setup is very weird on that side as the wastewater goes directly into the sump pump, never seen this before.

Hi all need your advice, I have a side by side duplex(Owned for 3 years and refinanced January 2021) and one of the longterm tenant just notified me that they are not going to renew the lease as they bought a new house, I'm happy for them.

I'm planning to renovate that side by ripping the carpet and add LVP, new carpets in the bedroom. Add new cabinets, A/C, and paint the whole unit.

I was wondering what would be the best way to finance this? Thanks in Advance
