Looking to invest in our second STR property and Hawaii is in our radar. Being out of state, my husband and I have no idea about the area and ideal places to invest in terms of STR income and long term appreciation. Considering all areas of Hawaii - particularly Maui, Oahu and Big Island - which one is more attractive for investors? Also, the property prices in Hawaii seem to be soaring quite a lot. Is it even worth investing there anymore?

Looking to invest in a property for short term rental and exploring areas. How is the STR market in Camano Islands? I read somewhere that its seasonal. Are winters completely down?

I am new to investing and looking to buy our first STR. Wondering how palm springs market is? I know about 36 stay per year restriction in palm springs, but does it still affect cash flow in STR's that put a limit of minimum 3-4 nights per stay? Also, how are the surrounding areas that still allow STR like Bermuda Dunes, Indio etc? I see thousands of airbnb listings in the palm springs and neighboring areas. Is it still worthwhile jumping in such a competitive market? Not to mention, the rising home prices in that area and current interest rates.

I was checking the booking calendars of couple of properties in the area and they seem pretty much empty for the next few months, at least for the listings that are out of palm springs main. That also kind of concerns me if there are enough bookings in summer?
