Howdy!

My name is Makayla Kelly. I am class of 2021 at Texas A&M University. I hope to be a real estate investor in the future. I am interested in commercial and residential properties.

Any advice how to start / become a rental property investor?

How do I find a real estate investor mentor?

Thank you for your time! I look forward to gaining more knowledge about real estate.

@Abel Curiel

Thank you for your response Mr. Curiel! Would you say becoming a real estate agent is beneficial for gaining knowledge in the real estate field before becoming an investor?

Hello everyone!

My name is Makayla Kelly, and I am a junior in college. I am majoring in business, and I have a passion for real estate. I have read many books, such as, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki as which gave me the dreams of one day becoming financially stable and free. I understand it takes hard work, dedication and trial and error. I am hoping to get some tips, recommendations and hopefully finding a mentor who can help guide me to the right path for becoming a future real estate investor.

1. Should I become a real estate agent before becoming a real estate investor?

2. Is being a real estate agent a good foundation for real estate investing?
