I'm stuck between buying a brand new townhouse for $289000 and an older home about 9-10 years older, basically the same with a few less upgrades for $255000. I'm wondering if 10 years makes that big of a difference in price? This is for living in for now, and potentially an investment down the road. Thanks!

20 year old hockey player/ student, I've always been interested in real estate as it has always excited me. I started listening to the podcast a few days ago after a friend told me about it, and I'm obviously hooked. I'm looking for someone to take me under their wing as they say, and maybe show me the ropes a bit. I'm more than excited to learn everything I can to do with this industry.

Thanks!
