I was talking to some other landlords who have told me that as she signed the lease .. she is in a legal agreement to pay the rent until we find a new tenant? Is that not correct? 

What about the money we lost while waiting for her? 

No keys were given.. we said April 22nd is the final date and we cannot hold the house after that. She is now asking for May 5th move in date. What are my options can we go after her for the 1st month rent as we waited for her? Can we sign a lease with different renter at this point?

No she said she will give the deposit at the time of move in and she did not

We live in Tampa, FL

The potential tenant signed the lease to move in on the 11th of April but has not moved in. She is refusing to break the lease or pay the rent. She asks to keep extending the move in date. what are my options? Can we sign another lease with a different tenant and still go after her for the amount since the start of the lease?
