Hello Everybody!

My name is Mack Benson currently located in Woodbury, MN. My interest in real estate investing dates to when I read Rich Dad Poor Dad 15-20 years ago. The excitement I had then ran out when I was lead to believed I would never have the funds available to break in to the industry. I never thought I had the funds to get started but recently discovered there are many more, maybe less conventional, ways to get started. For many years I have worked on improving and selling primary residences and rolling over the equity to the next home but I would like to get into real estate investing as a business. With a degree in applied mathematics the numbers don’t scare me and I know one day I can get out of the banking industry IT world.

At this point I am looking for my first rehab property to fix and flip on the east side and to network with individuals and mentors. Up to now I have learned a lot by perusing the forums and listening to the pods but I know the best way to learn is by doing. I hope to soon join some meetups and in person events to learn even more.

I’m saying it here so it is in the internet ether for eternity that I will not over think and talk myself out of real estate again, I will go through with the plan.

Thank you for lending me your eyes while reading this and I look forward to connecting with you in the future.
