Hello all! My parents have recently started showing interest in buying their first mobile home park. The opinions of those they are connected to seem to vary. Some say this is a great investment and others say that it will be a nightmare that they will regret. I am wondering if any of you have any wisdom to share about mobile home park investing. My parents are hopefully close to retirement and I don’t want them to buy a huge problem. Thanks for the help!

Chris, that is some really great advice. I have started reading a few of the Bigger Pockets books, and they truly do help to clear things up. Thanks!

Hello. My name is Mack and I am going to be junior at a small private university in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. School has been an amazing experience and I have done very well, but with the pandemic threatening to put classes online, I am leaning towards taking a gap year. Earlier this summer I read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, and just like so many others, it changed the way I think about money and investing. Soon after I began listening to the Bigger Pockets Podcast. The more I listened, The more I am thinking that I would enjoy a future in real estate investing. I'm reaching out to all of you for advice on how I should get started. I have around $6,000 saved up, and I am thinking about getting my real estate license before the school year starts. Despite the pandemic changing my plans with regard to school, I think this time off would be such a great opportunity to dive into the universe of real estate investing. Any tips or words of advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I am very interested in being a part of the club!
