I am a freshman at Duke University studying Computer Science and Economics and am actively involved as an Analyst in the Duke Real Estate Club. I am looking for an internship in real estate this summer.

Please let me know if you might know of a real estate investment fund, developer, or brokerage in the metro-Atlanta area that may be looking for a summer intern.

Thank you!

Post: My Thoughts On Podcast 331. Detroit Rentals With Ashley Hamilton!

It seems to me that Ashley Hamilton's real estate strategy is about as effective as investment strategies come. 20K per property for around 1K a month (12K a year) is an absolutely incredible return, certainly above 50%. The legendary investor Warren Buffett defined the value of an asset to be the sum of the discounted cash flows that it produced throughout a lifetime, so going by Buffett's (and most of the finance world's) definition of value, Ashley's buys would be outstanding deals.

Honestly, I think any investor (not just young real estate newbies) can gain greatly from Ashley's story.

*Buffett only produced around a 20% annualized ROI on his portfolio
