Post: Advice on How to Best Use My Equity

Hey everyone,

Looking for some advice on how to use existing equity to best launch my real estate journey.

I’ve got 2 houses: House A has $550k in equity and $200k left on the mortage, house B has $800k in equity and is completely paid off.

House A can rent for $3300/month and house B can rent for $3700/month.

I know I’ve got a great opportunity to use this as the starting point for my real estate journey, but would love some advice on the best path forward.

Thanks!

Hi all,

I'm a new real estate investor looking to find cash flowing small multifamily or single family homes. Right now I'm in the stage of finding deals and getting comfortable analyzing them. The biggest problem that I'm running into is figuring out how to finance the deal. I'm a college student and therefore don't qualify for any traditional financing(which I believe eliminates the FHA loan program). I was hoping to get some advice on the best financing for someone in my situation.

Thanks!

Hi everyone! My name is Luke Martin and I'm a new investor in the Denver area. I've been an avid listener of the Bigger Pockets Podcast for a while now and I'm excited to finally start interacting with the community. Being in the early stages of my real estate journey, I've spent a large amount of time researching all the different niches that are available to a new investor. I'm always eager to learn and was hoping to gain some perspective on picking a strategy in the Denver area. I hope to connect with you all and would love to grab coffee or lunch sometime to talk real estate!
