Hello Everyone,

I am just about ready to start looking for tenants for my first rental property. I know in the US Cozy.com is a really popular tool to use for ease of tenant credit reports. It allows you to get the applying tenant to pay the cost of the credit report which is nice. I am from Canada and sadly Cozy does not service here yet - I am looking for some tips on how I am able to get the applying tenant(s) to cover the cost of the credit check. :) Thank-You in advance, cheers!

Hey Everyone,

I hope you all are doing well. I am looking into Short Term Rental's as a way of getting started in REI. I am 21 from Edmonton, AB and have been doing some research on AIRDNA - A website that tracks statistics such as property revenue/month and avg. days booked/month in a certain city based upon STR'S listed on AirBnB. I would love to hear your success stories and failures with operating STR's in Edmonton, or any city in Alberta for that matter.

Thank you in advance!

Hi Everyone,

I am 21 years old located in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) with $50,000 saved up from my job. I am looking to get my Real Estate portfolio started, but I am just a little confused if the Single-Family Home's category Multi-Family Home's category would be the best decision to start. I have been leaning towards the idea of MFH's thus far because of the benefit of multiple doors in one package but they are not cheap to buy in my area. Any tips on how to find the right route to start from you experienced investors out there? Thank you & God Bless.

Luke
